Kidney March
This week is National Nursing Week! Nurses go above and beyond to support their patients on the frontlines every day. We are incredibly honored to have so many amazing nurses in our Kidney March family. Many are marching to represent and advocate for the hundreds of patients and families they see affected by kidney disease and organ donation, and some are also marching for their own loved ones going through a kidney journey. Their dedication to the kidney cause is inspiring and the positive impact they have on the lives of their patients is extraordinary.Thank you Nurses for all that you do!❤️ #NursingWeek #ThankANurse #NationalNursingWeek #healthcareheros #WeAnswerTheCall #IKnowANurse ... Kidney March
Moms on the March! Happy Mother's Day weekend to all our Kidney March moms out there! We have many moms who are walking, and many more moms who are being honoured by Marchers. We wish all of you a very special day today!Meet new Marcher Laura McKenzieLaura is marching with her team “Happy Appy” for her 4-month-old daughter. Penelope was diagnosed with a duplex kidney and at three months old she needed surgery. Until Laura decided to do Kidney March and share her story, “a lot of people didn’t even know Penelope had kidney issues, let alone has already had surgery," she explained. “No one can really do anything for you… but with Kidney March, they now have a way to help and a way to support us.” Laura is marching, like many of our moms, to raise awareness and create better outcomes through advances in research and care. We are so excited Laura has joined our Kidney March family and we can’t wait to get to know her and her family. Welcome Laura!#KidneyMarch #MothersDay #KidneyKids #MiniMarcher ... See MoreSee Less
