In our quest to help find better medications for people with kidney disease, we are always on the lookout for patient input. Finerenone is a medication intended to slow the progression of kidney disease and reduce the risk of cardiac events in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and type 2 diabetes. It’s currently being evaluated for inclusion in drug plans across Canada.
