September 5, 2019See you at Day Zero on Thursday September 5th!
What is Day Zero? Day Zero will ignite your soul, and pump you up for the March. At Day Zero you will pick up your participant package, make any final donations, shop at the Kidney March Store and receive important safety and event information.
Where/When: Thursday, September 5 at the Delta Calgary South, Bonavista Ballroom, 135 Southland Dr SE
Please arrive 15 minutes before your selected session time to check-in. You will need more time if you are turning in donations.Mandatory Safety & Orientation Session
All Marchers and Crew must attend one of the below.
We are offering three options (each is 45 minutes). No RSVP required.
Session 1 - 2:00 pm
Session 2 - 3:30 pm
Session 3 - 6:30 pm (this session is typically the busiest)Mandatory Crew Meeting 5:00 pm (All Crew must also attend one of the Safety & Orientation Session above)

September 6, 2019Join us for the Opening Ceremony at Millarville Racetrack.
Marchers and Crew will be embarking on the frontier of heroism. Thank you for making a difference. Family, friends, donors and supporters are all invited to join us at the Opening Ceremony.
When? Ceremony starts at 7:00 am. The March starts at 8:00 am
Where? 306097 192 Street, Millarville, AB T0L 1K0Opening Ceremony transportation options or participants:
1.) Meet at Millarville Racetrack – get dropped off, family and friends can stay for the Opening Ceremony. No vehicles can be left there over the weekend.
2.) Catch the bus at 6:15 am, departing from the Delta Calgary South to Millarville Racetrack. Meet in Southland Yard in the Tower building (see map below).
NOTE: Vehicles can be left at the Delta over the weekend. If so, you will be bused back to the hotel after the Closing Ceremony. -

September 8, 2019The Closing Ceremony showcases the dedication of all those involved in Kidney March, an outstanding triumph that deserves celebrating. We hope to see you there.
Ceremony Details:
When? Sunday, Sept.8, 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Where? Canada Olympic Park’s Markin MacPhail Centre - 151 Canada Olympic Rd SW, Calgary (see map below).New location - Returning Marchers and Crew, this year’s ceremony will not be in the festival tent.
No pets - We know pets are part of the family, but please leave them waiting for you at home.Ceremony Itinerary:
• 2:30 pm: Guests await Marchers and Crew's arrival outside the Markin MacPhail Centre
• 2:45 pm: Marchers and Crew parade into the Markin MacPhail Centre
• 3:15 pm: Ceremony starts in the Markin MacPhail Centre
• 4:30 pm: Ceremony ends, participants reunite with their loved ones and bask in all their support!
