We are having a training walk and mini Olympics at Bowness Park with games based on these Olympic events: bobsled, biathlon, curling, and hockey. This Kidney March gettogether will be family and pet-friendly. Build a team of 4 to participate in the Kidney March Olympic events, or watch and enjoy the day with hot beverages and a fire in the beautiful Bowness Park. There will be prizes for the gold, silver, and bronze winners. We can't wait to see you!
10 am - 5 km Training walk, in Bowness Park.
11 am to 1 pm - The Olympic games! Wood fire pit and hot beverages provided.
- Build a team of 4 to join in the games and pick the country you want to represent (Country choice is first come first serve). If you don't have a team of 4 don't worry! we will match you up with other Kidney Marchers or their friends and family the day of.
- Bring as many friends and family as you want - kids and pets also welcome.
- Bring a lawn chair for seating as we will be in the park and seating may be limited.
- Bring marshmallows and roasting sticks if you want to enjoy them over the fire.
